opening workbooks
To open a Workbook, EITHER click on the File menu then Open. Select the file fro the Open dialogue box then click on the Open button, OR
Click on the Open icon on the standard toolbar 
and proceed as above, OR click on the File menu and select the file required in the Recently Used File List at the bottom of that menu.
Why bother trying to find it again later? Just bookmark it.
